My Pick for the Nobel Prize in Economics

As is obvious from the top line of this blog, I think Richard Posner should win the Nobel Prize in Economics. But what I think should happen is far different from what I think will happen.

My guess, totally uninformed, is that Jagdish Baghwati will win the Nobel Prize in economics this year or in the near future. But it will be a tough call. Alchian and Demsetz could win it, and so could Martin Feldstein, and all would be reasonable choices.
