I'm sure other universities and colleges celebrate "Pi-Day", but this looks like fun:
Pi day (March 14) is an annual celebration commemorating the mathematical constant π.
At this time of year, the mathematical community takes time to reflect on the importance and beauty of mathematics and to give out free pie.
We hope that you will be able to join the Math and Stats department and the Math, Stats and Actuary Students Society in this annual celebration.
The schedule of events is the following:
1:59 Free Pie!
2:10 Math Crafting
2:30 Public Math Lecture by Shaun Fallat
3:30 Pi-kus (like haikus, but about pi)
We promise no calculus exams and your won't need a calculator.
