Well, it sure was close. The oddsmakers set the spread at Indianapolis to win by 3.5; I picked the New England Patriots to win by 3. The Patriots were up by 3 with a minute to go, and then the Colts scored, putting them up by 4.
But two things emerged from this game:
- the Colts staged a VERY impressive comeback after being down by 18 points in the second quarter.
- the Colts looked maybe good enough to give the Bears a good game. The line spread on Superbowl 41 should be pretty small.
