Yesterday, Ms. Eclectic noticed that there were no geese flying overhead in our area. Then we realized we hadn't seen any that day in the nearby fields or ponds. We drove to Lake Huron this morning and couldn't spot any Canadian geese there or at their usual hang-outs along the way.
According to Wikipoedia, we live just north of an area where Canadian geese tend to stay year 'round. They certainly thrive year 'round on the Thames River near the sewage treatment plant in London.
But they're gone from up here now.
