As I said, I wandered around up on top of Snow King Mountain. It was nice. And I really liked being up there, wandering around on my own. Here's one view of the trail I was on. You can see why I wasn't so impressed with the mountains --- the haze just was too much for them.
And I took this next photo (a "selfie") with my smartphone when I reached that peak you can see in the above photo. Those are the Grand Tetons in the background.
Walking back to the chair lift, I noticed there are a lot of buildings in Jackson with flat roofs. Big buildings with flat roofs. I had a flashback to my flights into and out of Trono this morning and thought, "Gee, that's odd. That's an awful lot of warehouses for a town this small."
What an idiot. They're all hotels and motels, of course.
Two different people who live in Jackson told me that summer is three times as busy as winter (one said, "Let's face it: skiing is expensive!"). And they both said that October and November are REALLY dead.
Well, time to read up for the summit tomorrow.
