All the snow melted yesterday afternoon, but we had more snow overnight, enough to do another snow stomp art piece (albeit barely enough).
The bitter wind and cold, coupled with the snow, makes people think of escaping to warmer climates:
Three interesting things about doing these pieces of snow art:
- Today's work was not technically snow stomp art. There wasn't enough snow to stomp. This piece, as well as many others this winter, is better thought of as snow-foot-drag-art.
- The goose droppings don't bother me much if they're frozen.
- It's amusing how many champagne bottle corks I run across as I do the artwork. I guess it's fun and romantic to stand on the balcony and pop a cork out over the lawn.
