We have had quite a bit of snow lately, but we kept expecting more and it was very windy, and so I held off doing any snowstomp art until this morning. I'm glad I did.
This was the first truly snowstomp art that I've done in several years. The snow was deep enough that I couldn't just scuff my feet along the ground to do the work; I had to stomp the snow down, leading to the various textures.
As many of you know, I am an extreme agnostic bordering on atheism. Nevertheless, I have a great fondness for the Christmas traditions with which I was raised. I hope this piece reflects that sense adequately.
