I've done baseball (and other) sportscasting at various times for over thirty years, covering the AA London Tigers, the London Werewolves, and the London Majors. Last year, when it became apparent that no local media were going to cover the London Majors, I suggested lives-streaming their games on Facebook.
It has taken off, as our "telecasts" [which are really just radio with a webcam] reach thousands of people all over the world.
Here is an article about our work: http://lfpress.com/sports/local-sports/london-majors-live-stream-on-facebook-proves-popular
And here is the (revised) schedule of our upcoming broadcasts (see notes below):

Notes:
- We will try to cover as many of the playoff games as we can.
- The London Majors pick up all the extra data charges when we have to use our cellular plans to transmit a road game.
- Some of the games will not be covered because we have other commitments, especially in late July when I'll be at the Hamilton Fringe.
- Other sports I've covered? Curling.
