My granddaughters suggested I make a maze with my next snow stomp art. I loved the idea and couldn't wait for the next time we had enough snow that would stay on my canvas (the condo lawn) to do it. Here it is:
Actually I worked on this piece from a little after 11pm last night until nearly 1am. The snowfall was predicted to end about then, and temperatures were forecast to drop precipitously after that, so I decided to avail myself of the window of opportunity.
Ms. Eclectic took this photo at about 11:30 last night, when I started it:
Feedback from within the building has been interesting:
- "Magnificent! It works!
- "I didn't get any work done this morning because I kept trying to follow the path."
- "How do you do that? Do you take a piece of paper or something?" Short answer: yes. Long answer: I sketch it and then take a picture of the sketch that I look at on my phone.
I'm delighted that the wind didn't disrupt things too much. The first photo here was taken after I went out at noon to clean it up a bit, but overall I'm pleased with it.
