I finally received my MixcderE9 active noise canceling headphones from Ali Express today. I was so excited!
I charged them up a bit, using the standard Samsung USB cord, and turned them on. Then I put them on and started some Vivaldi on my iPhone.
Wow!! Automatic connection and they sounded great!
A half hour later I realized that the sound I'd been hearing was through my hearing aids and not through the headphones at all. Well, duh.
Later, I paired the headphones with my computer (which isn't paired with my hearing aids). The pairing was easy, and they work like a charm. So my initial reaction was still right: they were easy to connect and sound good.
Why would I want these if my hearing aids are paired with my phone? Sometimes I like to join Zoom meetings on my laptop so I can see better, but I can't pair my computer with my hearing aids unless I spend hundreds on an extra piece of equipment. Now I have some really nice (they are!) inexpensive headphones that work well with Zoom and are cordless (unlike my 11-year old Bose corded noise-canceling headphones.
